The inspiration for Food Lovers' London came from my own quest to track down ingredients in London. Having lived abroad in Singapore and Italy. I found myself making trips to Chinatown to buy lemon grass and coconut milk or visiting Italian delicatessens in Soho to stock up with mascarpone cheese and thought that a guide to these shops would be very useful. Researching and writing the book was a wonderful journey of discovery, revealing the rich, diverse world that makes up London’s foodscene.
My first ever book, Food Lovers’ London is still in print, now in its sixth edition, a fact I’m very proud of!
